AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT: Get ready for Monty Python's very first feature film, based on the best skits and bits of their legendary BBC comedy series Monty Python's Flying Circus. Join John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, Graham Chapman and Terry Gilliam on a hysterical romp filled with dead parrots, upper-class twits, old ladies on motorcycles, bank robbers, crazy flashers, killer jokes and singing lumberjacks. It's Something Different all right - as well as something incredibly zany, completely stupid, absolutely twisted, hilariously silly and extremely funny.

THE HOLY GRAIL: Makes Ben Hur look like an epic - After 29 years in the making, the second funniest film of all time comes to DVD in a brand-new, 2-disc Collector's Edition. With really nice new picture quality, rather loud 5.1 sound and hours and hours and hours of extra bits (including the lost 24 seconds), Monty Python and The Holy Grail is a must for anyone who likes really silly movies with killer rabbits in them. Arthur, King of Britons, Defeater of the Saxons and Sovereign of all England with only his trusty servant Patsy by his side has travelled the length and breadth of the land in search of noble knights to join his Court at Camelot. His ranks are soon swelled by such illustrious names as Sir Bedevere, Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Galahad the Pure and Sir Robin-the-not-quite-so-pure and not-very-brave either, they form a band whose names and deeds will be retold throughout the centuries... The Knights of the Round Table. Their first adventure is where they get to meet God, who sets them a task, a sacred quest... the Quest for the Holy Grail. On their quest the Knights encounter many hazards: the sarcastic taunts of the French Knights, the Knights who say 'Ni', Tim the Enchanter and the terror of the Cave of Caerbannog, until only one thing stands between them and the Holy Grail.

LIFE OF BRIAN: Monty Python delivers a scathing, anarchic satire of both religion and Hollywood's depiction of all things biblical with their second film. The setting is Judea 33 A.D, a time of poverty and chaos, with no shortage of messiahs, followers willing to believe in them, and exasperated Romans trying to impose some order. At the centre of it all is Brian Cohen (Graham Chapman), a reluctant would-be messiah who rises to prominence as a result of a series of absurd and truly hilarious circumstances providing ample opportunity for the entire ensemble (John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, Michael Palin, and Chapman) to shine in multiple roles as they mock everyone and everything from ex-lepers, Pontius Pilate, and the art of haggling to crazy prophets, Roman centurions, and crucifixion.

THE MEANING OF LIFE: Those six pandemonium-mad Pythons are back with their craziest adventure ever! John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Terry Jones, Eric Idle, Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin have returned to explain The Meaning of Life. These naughty Brits offer the usual tasteful sketches involving favourite body parts and bodily functions, the wonders of war, the miracle of birth and a special preview of what's waiting for us in Heaven. Nothing is too sacred for the probing Python crew. You'll never look at life in quite the same way again. Time pronounces it "an exhilarating experience!" Newsweek agrees, calling it, "the best movie from England's satirical sextet." Winner of the 1983 Cannes Film Festival Special Jury Award.
